Lisa was born and raised in Queens, New York, but currently goes back and forth from her Freehold, New Jersey residence and her residence in Boca Raton, FL with her family. Lisa is very fortunate to be able to work hybrid from both states. One of her favorite pass times, aside from traveling with her family, is spending her winters in Florida and summers on the Jersey Shore. Her passion for travel began from a very young age and has brought her to many new and exciting places. Lisa’s favorite thing about travel is the pure fascination of meeting interesting people and experiencing new cultures from all over the world. I began in the travel industry in 1986 as the owner of a Cruise-Only Travel Agency, CruiseQuarters, in Newport, Rhode Island. In 1993, my husband was offered an overseas assignment and our family moved to Great Britain. This made it necessary to sell my agency and I began to work as an independent sales agent. I also served as a 5th grade teacher at the American Community School in Cobham, England. While living abroad, I continued to escort cruise groups for CruiseQuarters, travelled extensively throughout Europe, and helped friends plan their vacations. When I returned to the US in 1997, my former agency had moved to another state. I then began working as an independent sales agent for a local Rhode Island agency. In 2012, I retired to Florida and was excited to join Boca Raton Travel and Cruises as an affiliate agent. My independent position allows me the freedom to meet clients at their convenience, and serve as a host for the Signature Cruise Program. My business philosophy has always been to provide highly personalized service, and clients have access to my cell number to reach me whenever needed. I would welcome the opportunity to help plan your next vacation. I also hope to have the pleasure of hosting you on a hosted Signature Cruise. On a personal note, I am a breast cancer survivor and write a blog you can see on my website: www.Sisters4Prevention.com. My hope is to help others through their journey. I also serve as a consumer advocate for the Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Award program. The goal of this program is to eradicate breast cancer.
