This morning your riverboat docks in Tain l'Hermitage for fun family discoveries ashore including a choice of excursions; a wine & cheese tasting at a local co-op, recognized for its prestigious "cru" of wines; a visit to world renowned chocolate producer, Valrhona, where you'll learn about the history of the chocolate maker, taste the difference between a few different types of chocolate and take part in a chocolate truffle making class with one of Valrhona's top pastry chefs; or, embark on an active hike through the vineyards of Tain I'Hermitage, learning about the region's rich wine history and indulging in a jaw-dropping view at the top of the hill, one that warranted a visit from future president Thomas Jefferson back in 1788. Shipboard Credit for Category 7 Staterooms – €80 shipboard credit (one per stateroom) is provided to guests booked in a Category 7 stateroom to be used for onboard purchases or services (spa, laundry, gift shop, etc.)

Please note: Children under 18 must be booked in a cabin with at least one adult. Accommodations for families of 3 or 4 in Categories 1 through 6 consist of two adjacent, but not connecting, double cabins. Triple and quadruple accommodations in Category 7 consist of a suite featuring a pillow-top queen-sized bed (with optional twin-bed capacity) and a full-sized pull-out couch. Please note that Category 7 suites can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults over the age of 18, or of 2 adults plus 2 children (only available on Bridges family cruises).
